At New Horizons Child Development Centre, we believe that every child can do better.
Since 2003 we are supporting children with special needs, we have developed the E-nable Parent Coaching Program – an online initiative designed to support families from the comfort of their home.
Through the E-nable Parent Coaching Program, we have extended our support beyond Mumbai, reaching parents and families across India and globally.
This initiative has positively impacted over 800 children, empowering them to develop essential skills.
Many children who have successfully completed the program are now doing well in schools and society and leading fulfilling lives.
Many treatments for children with special needs focus solely on behavior management, often using activities that have little connection to real life. However, the E-nable Parent Coaching Program takes a different approach. We work directly with you, equipping you with the tools to help your child develop essential social skills within the comfort of your home.
Imagine the gentle guidance of a nurturing chachi or the attentiveness of a loving maasi – this is the warmth, patience, and personal support we bring to every session. Our strategies are seamlessly integrated into everyday routines, ensuring progress that is both meaningful and lasting.
E-nable targets common concerns such as:
Instead of focusing solely on a fixed number of physical therapy sessions, what truly matters is how a child learns social behaviors and thrives within their natural family environment. The E-nable Parent Coaching Program is designed to empower parents and family members to support their child’s developmental path from the comfort of home. This program is indigenously developed and closely monitored by a developmental pediatrician, ensuring that every child is guided toward achieving age-appropriate developmental milestones through family-centered, evidence-based strategies.
Online parent coaching empowers you with the right strategies, tools, and understanding to support your child consistently in their natural environment. Since parents spend the most time with the child, guided intervention at home often leads to more meaningful and sustainable progress.
Your child’s needs are identified through a detailed process that includes developmental history, parent interactions, structured observations (via video/live sessions), and standardized frameworks. This helps create an individualized plan tailored specifically to your child.
A trained developmental professional (coach), in collaboration with a supervising doctor, designs the intervention plan. The strategies are explained to you in detail, keeping your child’s profile and your home environment in mind.
Every child responds differently. If a strategy is not effective, it is reviewed, modified, or replaced based on your feedback and observations. The program is dynamic and evolves according to your child’s response.
Yes. Through structured observations, video analysis, and continuous parent feedback, we gain deep insights into your child’s functioning in real-life settings. In fact, working within the child’s natural environment often enhances the effectiveness of intervention.
Severity is assessed using developmental frameworks, clinical expertise, and observation of your child’s skills across domains such as communication, behavior, social interaction, and daily functioning.
Yes. The program is planned and supervised by a developmental Pediatrician who regularly reviews progress, session updates, and plans, ensuring medical and developmental alignment throughout the journey.
Your coach will guide you through demonstrations, feedback, and regular reviews. You may also share videos of your practice, and corrections will be provided to ensure you are on the right track.
You can reach out to your coach between sessions for clarification and support, and if still you have queries it can be escalated to your Developmental Pediatrician. Continuous guidance is an integral part of the program to ensure you feel confident at every step.
Yes. Parent-mediated interventions are strongly supported by research and are widely recommended in developmental care. When parents are trained and actively involved, children often show better generalization of skills, improved engagement, and sustained progress.
