You Are Not Alone

Your child’s progress is carefully reviewed every month by the Developmental Paediatrician to
ensure meaningful outcomes. During these one on one monthly reviews, once goals are achieved, new goals
are set to support the child’s continued growth and development.

Parent and caregiver intervention is the key strength of this program. Through regular coaching and
counselling sessions, families are equipped to create a home environment that supports and reinforces
their child’s progress every single day, rather than repetitive pattern training.

You are not alone

The New Horizons Approach

NHDP - A Program Designed Around Your Child

Over the last two decades, our team of Developmental Paediatricians, Psychologists and therapists, under the guidance of Dr. Samir Dalwai, have developed a comprehensive and highly customized program designed to address each child’s unique developmental needs, the New Horizons Developmental Program (NHDP).

This program focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of developmental concerns rather than only managing the symptoms. Every child is supported through an individualized plan, where the Developmental Paediatricians reviews outcomes every month, and new goals are set that reflect the child’s growth and move them steadily forward on their developmental journey.

Our multidisciplinary team of developmental specialists ensures that the intervention plan is implemented effectively. This includes one-on-one sessions of 45 minutes involving the child, family members, and specialists such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, and Special Educators.

Your child’s progress is carefully reviewed every month by the Developmental Paediatricians to ensure meaningful outcomes. During these monthly reviews, once goals are achieved, new goals are set to support the child’s continued growth and development.

Parent and caregiver intervention is the key strength of this program. Through regular coaching and counselling sessions, families are equipped to create a home environment that supports and reinforces their child’s progress every single day

The New Horizons Developmental Program is built to deliver real, lasting outcomes. What makes NHDP unique is its vision — we do not just prepare your child for school. We prepare them for society, for relationships, and for life itself.

Our Approach
and
Philosophy

Many treatments for children with special needs focus solely on symptoms & behavior management, often using activities that have little connection to real life. However, at NHCDC we take a different approach.

Parent’s Involvement in Child Development Centre

Our strategies are seamlessly integrated into everyday routines, essential social behaviors,
communication, academic and life skills, ensuring progress that is both meaningful and lasting.

At New Horizons, we stand by each parent and child. With patient guidance and regular support, you will see your child’s confidence grow, and everyday moments turn into victories.

We invite you to join our family. Let us show you how focused care and clear action can bring out the best in your child.

Parenting Today

Our founder Dr. Samir Dalwai was interviewed by one of the renowned YouTube celebrities, Mr. Raj Shamani, where Dr. Samir spoke about what effective parenting truly means in today’s fast-changing world. Drawing from decades of experience as a developmental and behavioral Paediatricians and Director of New Horizons Child Development Centre, he explained how early childhood experiences shape long-term emotional and cognitive outcomes. The conversation explored why fear-based discipline doesn’t work, the importance of tone, balance, reading, and human engagement, and how healthy disappointment builds resilience. Dr. Dalwai also shared clear insights on autism, inclusivity, screen-time risks, and why community and real human connection are critical for raising well-adjusted, future-ready children.
